Biography & Contact

In my roughly 20 years of life I have had a dedicated interest in the arts, and have sought knowledge and experience in various mediums. The movie Spirited Away, by Studio Ghibli, was the spark that interested i\me in animation, and later on in the Game Design Industry. Although I have yet to have a job where I can utilize my creative skills as I wish, I have taken jobs that have given me other skills. Such jobs have included cashier, store floor clerk, and a receptionist. In these jobs I have learn how to be self sufficient, organized, and how to work with people.

I have completed an advanced high school diploma at Robinson Secondary, and nearly an associates degree at the Northern Virginia Community College as well, however I transferred to George Mason University before I could finish out the last few credit hours at NOVA. At George Mason I have truly been able to focus on honing my game design skills, as I am pursuing a Game Design Bachelor’s degree. Thus far I have completed courses such as Basic Game Design, Music for Film and Video, the History of Game Design, Online and Mobile Gaming, Education, Writing and Editing Music and Sound, New Media Art, and I am currently working on courses for Advanced Gaming Animation, a Game Design Studio, and Portfolio Preparation. I do already have quite a few items available for a portfolio, and I am utilizing the Portfolio Preparedness class to organize and update these works to my current working standards.

I have worked on trams several times to make small games, usually 2D platformers. I have used a variety of programs to make these games, including Construct 3, Unity, and Unreal Engine. Additional Programs I’ve used include Photoshop, PaintTool SAI, and 3DS Max. A few games I have worked on include Space Dinos, M.A.R.S., and Forest of Fate. I am currently working on a project based on the the classic game of the floor is lava, and in my free time I am developing a homebrew, or original, Dungeons and Dragons campaign using the 5th edition rules. I also enjoy the practice of world and character creation, and write and draw new concepts for fun.
